1. Handiedan I believe masters collage in a new sort of way. The pieces are put together in such a way where the edges of one severed art to the next is extraordinarily masked.

I also love the ways the framing gives a completely different feel to them. With my exhibition around the corner I am starting to think more and more about presentation and my ideal framing is starting to be a pain in the ass.

  2. Andrew Myers

Originally Myers brought me in with the sheer ingenuity of his “Screw Art” series. Upon further investigation, I’ve realized his art is not dissimilar to my own. He draws many female figures all with a sharp emotion attached. I found his “My struggles with God” series as shown in the last two images extraordinarily empathetic  to me and I could only hope my own art could give such a reaction to its audience.

A completely different direction from my own art. but sometimes the darkest sides of humanity need to be brought into the light. I feel its only fitting of my mood after reading:

  4. Jaroslaw Kukowski

His work with the odd proportions of  people, is a direction Im playing with. his dark dreams and fleshy beings bring a new sad world into existence. This world I might say is what I am entering whenever I think about making more art. drawing has gone from a fun activity to homework to a relentless brainless office space job.

“It takes more than a few words to describe his artistic work. In order to do that, I will use the most characteristic (in my opinion) of his works. In Jaroslaw’s works, one the frequent elements is a degenerated, sometimes only modified, bodily form. Skin-like mantises, tank-penises, putta mutants – they all are, in my perception of his work, derision of the cult of the body, which dominated modern world. Naturally, they slightly differ semantically in various contexts”

  5. Svetlana Malygina

I would add all of his drawings if I could or if I thought you cared haha this artist blends a satiric and whimsical illustration style perfectly. It makes me think and empathize with the characters as well, whether it be animal or human. And to be frank, sometimes something is just off, and in this way, it is beautiful.

  6. M. Solongo

In a traditional what I see as a Japanese style, The artist enters us into an absurd world of ancient animal gods mixed with the joys of the modern world. I’ve stepped into a dream and I like that I cannot escape it.

The texture, pattern, and depth of background are something for which I would like to emulate. This to me is a complete work, and some day I will have my own.

  7. Karel Teige

With my recent side collaging job, I find new collages terribly interesting. Especially since I think this work incorporates the morbidity of my previous works. I also find the ingenuity of the collage stunning, for I find that I can lack such.

There is just something deeply touching in these pieces, where I am captivated. The monochromatic themes are to my liking as well, and does well to not distract you from the form at hand.

  8. paul kuczynski

His website is currently under construction and so these images are all from google. I very much enjoy how the artist combines an immediate reaction from his audience and a lingering afterthought of his conceptual nature. He picks on political and social moral issues of today and depicts them in forever intriguing satirical genius ways.

  9. pierre botardo

Currently I have been leaning toward the way of the collage. I thoroughly enjoy Botardo’s use of shape and positive and negative space.

  10. JACOB DAHLSTRUP JENSEN

I happen to particularly enjoy because he solely works with graphite on paper. Though occasionally he uses a tattoo needle to define his works. incredibly precise, he conquers the black and white like i’d some day like to
